Maybelline BabyLips Electro!
Maybelline has launched 4 shades of the baby lips electro in India.
I will be reviewing 2 of them here. Keep reading for the review and swatches.
These little puppies are much loved all around the world, thanks to their pigmentation and hydration. I will be reviewing the shades in Pink Shock and Berry Bomb today.
Availability: Maybelline Baby Lips are easily available everywhere. Any cute little shop that sells makeup, you're sure to find it there.
Price: INR 165 for the colored baby lips, and INR 135 for the Yellow fellow.
I was super excited to try them, but unfortunately, within 15 minutes of applying these lipbalms, my lips literally cracked and peeled. Painful! And I don't even have dry lips otherwise.
So hydration-wise, it was a huge disappointment for me.
I wondered if it was just me, so I checked with my sister. While it didn't overly chap her lips like mine, she was not satisfied with the hydration quality.
However, I did check out a few other reviews online, and it seems to be doing well with other bloggers. So, maybe I'm just allergic to it?
I found the packaging a little cheap and tacky. It could have been more sturdy.
I noticed that the Baby Lips Electro range is highly inconsistent with their pigmentation. While I was extremely happy with the pigmentation of Pink Shock (it applies coral with a sheen), Berry Bomb was a sheer tint of pinky nothing, as you can see from the swatches below.
I also find that the names do not coincide with the shade that you get.
As in, Pink Shock was more Coral on me, and Berry Bomb was a sheer pink!
So overall, I was not pleased with the baby lips electro range. but I know there are so many of you, who loves them!
Comment down below and let me know how you liked it if you've tried the maybelline baby lips electro.
