If you've been following me for awhile now, this location might look super familiar. If you don't remember click here
When you are travel, you try to make multiple uses of the few pieces you choose to bring to your trip. Keep reading to see how I have styled this cropped sweater in 2 different ways!
It was love at first sight for me when I laid eyes on this sweater. I loved that it is a checkered fitted crop sweater.
I mean, you don't always come across crop sweaters.
But, when I got home, I found it close to impossible to style it. Nothing just seemed right, until I started pairing it with high waist skirts!
For Look 1:
I chose to pair the sweater with a dreamy flowy orange maxi skirt, that was all the rage during the past summer. you might remember it from this post. Just because it is winter, you don't have to fold up your summer favs, or say good bye to color.
The outfit really dint need anything else, I had on my proenza schouler PS1 bag , the only one I carried, yet went so well with the whole outfit.
For look 2:
I was feeling a little bit more edgy this day, and hence decided to keep my outfit monochromatic.
Mixing patterns is easy when you're playing with the same color palette, so it didn't take much to layer this sweater over a striped A-line dress.
Now, I always like to add a little girly touch to my outfits, hence I added the bling peter pan color to the mix.
A sheer polka dotted pair of leggings, my shiny black oxfords and the look was really complete.
I didn't have much option with the bag, but the bright pop of color was an obvious welcome.
