Max Factor Mascaras are definitely some of the best mascaras you can get at the drugstore. Keep reading to find out if the 2000 Calorie mascara lives up to the expectation.
This mascara is an oldie, but definitely a goodie!
It has a traditional wand, nothing out of the ordinary. Although it promises dramatic volume, I would say it gives more of a medium amount of volume.
It is buildable though. So you can layer on a few coats to build up the volume, but it will start to clump your lashes together after a few coats.
It is not dramatically lengthening either. But it does lengthen to some extend.
It is long wearing, and stays on your lashes without smearing / flaking. It doesn't uncomfortable crust up your lashes either.
It is not waterproof, and it comes off very easily with your normal face cleanser and water.
oh, it majorly runs in water. so, avoid it on those teary and rainy days!
For just KD 3.500, it is definitely worth the money. While I don't hate anything about it, there's nothing extraordinary about it either.
So, do I recommend it?
This is what it looks like on my lashes, with nothing else.
If you're looking for wearable dark lashes, and an affordable mascara to get you there. yes.
If you're the Kim Kardashian, dramatic volume type girl, No.
