Jeans and Blazer

I honestly believe that the BIGGEST fashion must have for fat and thin, young and old, short and tall is -
A SILK WHITE BUTTON DOWN BLOUSE!

There are a plethora of options, as long as you're armed with a nice white shirt, and I honestly can't get enough of them!
Wear them as formals , wear them as casuals, why? wear 'em to your bedroom girl! aha aha

I also love the way gold looks with white. so I chose to accessorize in GOLD! ba-BAM! YEAAaaaa!

Another versatile blessing is a nice pair of jeans. I think I've had this pair (from zara) for 5 years now.
Let me be honest with you..
I am bored of him, but he's still so loyal. Then how do i decapitate him ?
sigh!

As the day progressed, I took down the awesomest black blazer ever ( from mango), for a more casual, mall friendly attire!

I am nearing the big day and today was the destined FINAL shopping day. My river island clutch stayed by my side through the rough shopping, although she lost a LOT OF weight. I shall let her heal once Ima done with this ordeal.
But as of today, Ima happy happy girl, at the expense of my wallet. but, bah! humbug! :D

Boyfriend-ed

We're rocketing towards the big day and we haven't even started apartment hunting! Since we are doing the entire wedding planning ourselves, it is difficult to find time in between work and planning to actually go on a hunt! So, we set out today on a frustrating, enlightening and exciting journey to find us a humble hut!

I obviously wanted to wear something uber comfortable, something that wouldn't hold me back half day! But that never means leaving behind my OCD with fashion. It's a disease!

I have to admit. Men have nailed comfort! I always pity them for not having a plethora of possibilities and options. ( I mean its skinny, baggy or formal pants! That wraps up their entire wardrobe! )
But, they can actually throw on ANYTHING, and not go wrong!
Stealing a page from their primitive style book, I decided to 'boyfriend' it today!:D
now, of course, this is something men find unexplanably unattractive, but who is dressing for men? ;)

I buttoned my cut off collar to start with. Just for that extra edge. If you want to know more about collar fashion just click here Collar fashion.

And wore this super sexy DKNY watch that my lovely princess, my sister got me for my birthday last week. I especially love it because it is something that I would've EVER got for myself, but its just PERFECT to layer! and YOU know, stacking arm candy is like the biggest running trend. So, she got me what I didn't know I want!!

A light weight crossbody bag just to house my phone and other such essentials, kitten heeled boots, boyfriend jeans, light jumper, hair up and away, comfort comfort and more comfort is all we care about. oh, AND getting a nice flat! :(

End of the day I realized 2 things,
1. Nothing is going to happen with just 1 day of hunting, this journey shall continue
2. I love wearing jeans that don't feed on my thighs!

                                                                  Good day folks! :D

My sunglasses, My style

Before I begin, I would like you to be informed that this post is a contest entry for BlogAdda's contest "My sunglasses, My style", in association with GKB opticals.

I honestly couldn't be more excited. Firstly, Because I have come across very few contests aimed at us fashion bloggers, ( why the discrimination boss? :D ) and,
Secondly, with summer just around the corner, sunglasses are the EASIEST way to fashion street!

I had so much fun creating this post, and hope this inspires you to put together unique outfits based on your sunglasses.

For the first look, I was greatly inspired by this Ray ban aviators. RB 3025

Aviators are a classic.
They never go out of style
They suit all face shapes, sizes and colors
And, they can be worn with ANYTHING!

Do I need to give more reasons why I am such a die hard fan of aviators?
okay!
how about Tom cruise, Bradley Cooper, Robert Downey Jr.?
Reason enough? :D

And what's better?
Aviators are synonymous with Rayban. I was born there, I shall die there. period!

As for my outfit. I boyfriended it!
BAM!

Moving on to look no. 2, I was awestruck by these innocent babies by DKNY - DY 4076

Over sized ombre lenses are timeless, elegant and DIVA-licious!
They mould into the lifestyle of a paparazzi attracting paparazzi avoiding Glambag.
Now, who wouldn't like a taste of that torment? :D

The sunglasses led me to a Chanel-esque ensemble with simple, sober, talking pieces.

And, I let the sunglasses take center stage by keeping the silhouette clean and color palette delish.

So, that was it. I really could have gone on ...
but life always comes with it limitations!
:D
Cheers guys!

Blue

I had a very particular name stuck in my head in the morning as I was getting dressed for brunch by the beach.
Coco chanel !

I am a true blue piecean! I love water and I love the ocean!
I love the sound of it, the smell of it and the feel of it!
The beach absolutely brightens my day, no matter how damp my spirits have been!

The blue shift dress kind of channels the style of Channel and I did some minor color blocking by adding my peach chanel look alike purse.

Although blue is technically a "cool" color, and hence, would suit better with silver jewellery, I find royal blue paired with gold exuberates a royal charm!
here since we are inspired by Lady Chanel herself, a little royalty wouldn't hurt!

Coco Chanel is such an iconic lady! And such magnificent, timeless and elegant designs!
droooool! 1 day baby 1 day!

and I love sheer stocking with pretty bows with the cut off booties.
more to the girly charm!
Tip with ankle boots - as long as they are cut to show your ankle bones, they will not chop you off vertically. Instead, they makes your legs look longer and leaner. Yay! :D
